Russia is Trying to Shove More Vaccines Into Africa

Plus: a JFK assassination investigation foundation's lawsuit, Trump's media impact explored by Narativ, potential heart risks linked to COVID-19 vaccines, and our planet's rapid greening.

  1. Moscow will give Africa more unproven vaccines that nobody wants or needs

The Russia-Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum culminated in St. Petersburg, with a focus on advancing vaccine supply for Africa. Russia's Health Minister Mikhail Murashko and Gamaleya Center Director Alexander Gintsburg championed stronger health ties with Africa and the potential of new vaccines. Despite allegations of corruptions and issues with the cost of Sputnik V in Africa, Murashko announced an updated Sputnik V in trials. Gintsburg, in addition, remarked on the development of an intranasal COVID vaccine to protect children under six. However, skepticism exists concerning acceptance of these vaccines in Africa due to distrust of government and leaders.

  2. What the Mary Ferrell Foundation Has Achieved

The Mary Ferrell Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to researching the John F. Kennedy (JFK) assassination, is suing President Biden and the National Archives for not enforcing the JFK Records Act. The lawsuit challenges secrecy around JFK files, including those created by the Senate’s Church Committee and the House Select Committee on Assassinations in the 1970s, as well as documents destroyed by federal agencies in the 1990s. They also aim to correct the faulty index of JFK assassination records held by the National Archives. The lawsuit could greatly increase public access to Kennedy’s assassination records.

  3. Democracy’s Last Stand

Zev Shalev, the creator of political blog Narativ, highlights Donald Trump's ability to maintain credibility despite controversial evidence against him due to his significant influence in media. Accusing Trump of exploiting a "mindfuck machine" of compromised media outlets, like FOX News and Twitter, Shalev argues that the former president's loud accusations against Biden often outweighs truths in the public's perception. The upcoming 5th season of Narativ aims to challenge this, targeting Trump's political ambitions and exposing further secrets about his rise to power. Despite the blog's financial challenges, Shalev urges those who value democracy to support Narativ's efforts.

  4. Virus and Vaccine-Induced Cardiomyopathy: Beyond Troponin, and Myocarditis Beyond COVID-19 Vaccines, Key References

COVID-19 mRNA vaccines could potentially trigger myocarditis and pericarditis - inflammation of the heart muscle and the outer lining of the heart respectively. Troponin, a cardiac biomarker, has been used in diagnosing these conditions. While troponin is typically associated with heart attacks, elevated levels can also indicate other forms of cardiac injury. Cardiomyopathy, a disease affecting the heart muscle, can be caused by virus-induced inflammation. Recent attention has been given to COVID-19 vaccines as potential triggers for cardiomyopathy. Other biomarkers like Creatine Kinase-MB (CK-MB), Myoglobin, and B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) also indicate cardiac injuries. Clinicians are urged to remain vigilant even if troponin levels aren't clinically significant, as myocardial injury could warrant further investigation. This is particularly relevant for virus or vaccine-induced myocarditis situations. This emphasizes the need for ongoing research and re-evaluation of diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.

  5. The Greening of the Globe: Global plant life surging

The world is greening at a rapid pace, with significant changes in ecosystems particularly in semi-arid areas and deserts like those of sub-Saharan Africa. Global leaders, despite technological limitations, are utilising strategies such as green imperialism and geoengineering projects (solar geo-engineering, marine cloud brightening, etc.) to artificially influence climate. However, these strategies, largely driven by financial interests, pose potential risks like destabilizing earth's temperature and causing extreme weather patterns or geological disturbances. In addressing climate change, global collaboration, advancing comprehensive climate actions in line with Paris Agreement, and CEOs using their influence for the transition to a low-carbon economy are deemed imperative. Nonetheless, the article underscores the importance of accepting weather and climate's natural course and warns of the potential destructive consequences of drastic, man-made interventions.
